We are super excited to share these Napa Valley engagement photos with you. Danielle and Eric have been together for ten (TEN!) years! They began dating in high school and now they are (FINALLY) getting married. <3 Scott asked them where they went on their very first date, and they looked at each other as if they had never tried to remember what it was… and then they agreed it was probably a high school football game. I took a minute to imagine them back then, holding hands, and it was really quite easy, since they are STILL super cute and in love together. You can tell they are truly best friends.
Danielle and Eric had said they would like to get their engagement session done in March. When they first mentioned that, I was a little nervous that with the vines being bare, we might not find beautiful foliage and scenes to do their engagement photos justice. ENTER NAPA VALLEY. Are you kidding me?! It only took a few moments once we drove into the valley to see that I had been fretting for no apparent reason. The sun was shining, making all the new leaves and grass glimmer just right, and everywhere we looked seemed worthy of a magazine cover. I will tell you that while I lived the first 23 years of my life in Napa I may have taken the beauty for granted, but I certainly DO NOT anymore. Scott and I have spent the last couple of days seeing many wedding photos that have been entered in a worldwide competition we are involved in. Though there are some gorgeous locations, I can’t say that I have seen many that stack up to the beauty that Napa has to offer. Being Napa Valley Wedding Photographers is a title we feel blessed to carry.
Danielle and Eric, we had THE BEST time with you. You two are gorgeous, you are super cute together and we can’t wait til June! <3
A very special thank you to Robinson Family Vineyards for allowing us to photograph this session on and around your winery. <3
