Brunch Wedding at the Brazilian Room – Berkeley // Lauren + David

September 24, 2015

Lauren and David were one of the first couples we met with when we had first moved here to Sacramento, and we were staying with my parents. We actually met with Lauren and her mom, as David works in politics and he was in the midst of a busy campaign when they began planning their wedding. We loved Lauren and her mom right from the start. They were genuinely interested in getting to know us as people- it wasn’t like an interview, it was like hanging out with friends. Then we met David at the engagement session and he was very reserved but so sweet to Lauren and we loved him too! Not long after, we had a little housewarming party. We invited the two of them- and even though they were in the midst of hectic times (they were moving, among wedding planning and other work related commitments) and they weren’t able to come, Lauren took the time to BAKE A HOMEMADE CAKE and bring it to our house. THIS is the kind of people they are. So very thoughtful. This was evident at their wedding. You could tell they are SO LOVED by all who know them. Their wedding day was sweet and simple and REAL. A brunch wedding. WITH A MIMOSA BAR. This is my new favorite kind of wedding! What a great idea- I highly recommend!

Lauren and David, we wish you the best in this life together…. Cheers to lots of good wine, good food, and good football games!

    Scott & Dana,

Thank you for the fantastic job of photographing our daughter’s wedding. I loved your energy, your professionalism and how well you fit right into the wedding.

Our friends and family commented on how friendly you were and how easy you were to work with. Having shot weddings before, I was completely at ease knowing you had everything under control.

One last shout out for the way you made Kira (4 year old flower girl and my grand daughter) smile during the group shots. it was obvious she was feeling left out and was very very sad (evident by her frown). It took only seconds for you to make her smile and continue smiling for the duration of the ‘Wedding Party Shoot”.

Thanks for joining us, for your wonderful photography skills, great vision and for keeping us calm under pressure.

    Father of the Bride!!!!

Ron, thank you so much for your kind comment. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Lauren and David’s wedding. It was very well-done, and more importantly, full LOVE from both families and so many friends. We felt blessed to be a part of the day- and our hope is that Lauren and David and all of the family will enjoy the images for the rest of their lives. May the images always bring you all right back to the way you all felt on that day. <3
